TAKE THE LONG WAY

The Wild Atlantic Way,
a little closer.

A photograph to spend a moment with. A few notes to take away.

01 / THE FIRST IMPRESSION

Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way follows the west coast, but a good family trip need not try to cover all of it. Choose a manageable section and leave room for the kind of stop that does not appear on a schedule: a harbour bench, a short beach walk, or lunch that lasts a little longer.

02 / SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND

Choose a short section of coast.

03 / A PLAN, LOOSELY HELD

A handwritten place name, a photograph of the weather, or a little drawing can become the start of a family travel notebook. It does not need to be polished. Write it while the details are still fresh.
