Weather can change the order of a trip without ruining it. Keep a few ideas that do not depend on a clear sky, and avoid making every day a collection of fixed reservations.

Choose a useful indoor option

Look for somewhere your family would enjoy anyway. Check current opening hours and any booking requirement. An indoor plan works best when it is more than a reluctant fallback.

Stay close for one afternoon

A comfortable meal, a book, or an hour in the room can be enough. A holiday does not need to be productive from breakfast until bedtime.

Move what can move

Separate plans that are fixed from plans you can rearrange. If the weather improves later, you can use that information without rebuilding the entire trip.

Remember the point of the visit

You came to spend time somewhere different, and often with people you care about. That can still happen when the view outside is grey.

Little Atlas

A few good ideas. A little room to make them your own.
